Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aegcopper collects timepieces. He has several watches on each wrist and a special utility vest covered in pockets just so he can fill them all with pocket watches. His favourite watch has a minute hand, a millennium hand, and an eon hand. The reason he is so focused on keeping track of time is so that he will always know how long he has until Christmas. His favourite watch isn't actually very useful in that regard, but it keeps the best time out of his entire collection. He spends most of his time looking for more time (time crystals, that is). The noise of all his pocket watches, combined with the explosive temper that aegis dragons are renowned for, has led some to call him a ticking time bomb.
