This breed of dragon was thought to exist only in legend. Although their name varies between cultures, they are often referred to as “Guardians of Nature.” They are able to channel the forces of fire, ice and lightning, which allows them to wield tremendous power. Seen very rarely, it is thought that they only become active when something is threatening the territory they have chosen to guard. In order to protect their chosen home, these dragons are incredibly adaptable; they have been seen everywhere from remote mountain ranges, to ancient forests, to the darkest depths of the ocean.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Xx Herobrine xX is the only Guardian Of Nature in his Cave, and he takes this responsibility very seriously. Perpetually cloaked in thick fog, he patrols his home territory relentlessly, on the look-out for intruders. If Herobrine wants a dragon to leave his territory, they will soon know about it from the sight of two glowing white eyes in the fog watching their every move. He seldom attacks, simply stalking his victims endlessly until they are sufficiently unnerved by the constant fog and the eyes watching them that they simply leave. That said, Herobrine is fiercely protective of the other members of his Cave, and he will kill intruders if it is necessary to do so in order to guard his homeland. Despite his protective nature and the fact that he travels widely across his territory, very few dragons in the Cave have seen Herobrine clearly, and even fewer have spoken to him. He is known only as a mystical figure, a sort of unseen guardian angel, and that is how he prefers it to stay.
