Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"This is denying my rights," the Silver dragon protested. "This is not fair." But his followers laughed and drove him away, refusing to obey anyone who had proven himself to be such a coward. And in that moment, the dragon who was named Praised was no longer worthy of his name, and thought of himself from then on as "The Silver Dragon."

Lost and alone, the weary traveler journeyed for days for anyone who would take him in. But he had led a clan that was large and prosperous, and they quickly spread what the Silver dragon called rumors but were in reality, truth. He could not even boast of his lack of lineage; when he told others they smirked and said "You were born like the rest of us. You are not special--you have no traceable history."

Finally he collapsed on the shore of an island that was undoubtedly his last hope. And this was the island of the Dewsong clan, the clan that gave him a home that he undeniably did not deserve.
