Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn’t seem to have any color to it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

The Barbershop Quartet hatchlings are a fine group, always traveling together, singing all the while. Their harmony is always in tune, the words never jumbled, and each hatchling knows his part. Their most favorite song to date is "The Anti-Elf Anthem," and they will sing it to any audience, willing or unwilling.

The Tenor is a conundrum. On the one hand, he has a fabulous singing voice, and has a particularly good ear for pitch. On the other, his behavior when he's not amongst his singing friends is quite puzzling. (Thankfully, these times are few and far between, as he rarely goes anywhere without the Quartet.) Rumor has it he's actually a vampire, but as he can easily prove to anyone who asks that no, he doesn't drink blood, sleep in a coffin, or sparkle; anyone who believes those rumors are quickly mocked and corrected.
