Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. The descendent of a long line of many different dragon species, Kotei Crown is wise beyond his years. If anyone in his family has a question, they always come to him for the proper answer. Though he is normally polite and well mannered, if angered he will have many choice words to say, and great strength to deliver punishment if he feels it's needed. He takes great pride in his crown of horns and is very careful not to do anything that would break it. After the family separated, he joined the Jungle clan, though he does go to the desert to visit his mate Kuroi Stars frequently. Were he as tolerant of the desert heat as she is, he would be with her, but he is satisfied with visiting her when he can.
