This breed of dragon was thought to exist only in legend. Although their name varies between cultures, they are often referred to as “Guardians of Nature.” They are able to channel the forces of fire, ice and lightning, which allows them to wield tremendous power. Seen very rarely, it is thought that they only become active when something is threatening the territory they have chosen to guard. In order to protect their chosen home, these dragons are incredibly adaptable; they have been seen everywhere from remote mountain ranges, to ancient forests, to the darkest depths of the ocean.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Clevanto is the first official adult Guardian of Nature that originated from the owner's cave. The owner of the pack once thought of freezing him but decided against it when she saw the way he looked at Missalina, the only other GoN adult. Because Missalina was created in another place, many dragons in the pack actually go to Clevanto for protection to his dismay. Though he does not mind helping others, he knows how much guarding others means to Missalina. Most would say he could do anything flawlessly and praise his humble demeanor. While Clevanto is humble about most things, he wishes Missalina would just... look at him more. He knows that being modest is in her nature, but wishes she would open up to everyone. To say that she is completely solitary would be false, however. Misslina has two that follow her around constantly; The Guardians Wish, a devoted hatchling and oddball Bright-Breasted TURN BACK NAO. These two make it hard for him to have it only desire; being alone with her.
