Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

One day Nehane was walking along with her friend Orca, but then Orca noticed something black and said that there was a dragon nearby. Nehane ignored him and picked up the egg quite soundly and walked back to their village. After a few days Nehane grew worried because all her other eggs had hatched by now. So she stayed up all night trying to make it hatch. The next night she awoke to a baby dragon smelling her face. She jumped out of bed and fell on the floor. Once she realized it was her newest baby dragon she began to play with it and feed it meat. Nehane named this playful dragon Zepherius. Zepherius never liked to be up in the day and when he was he would run into objects. So Nehane began to stay up late as well, to keep an eye on Zepherius. Once he grew into an adult he searched the skies, he found a nice abandoned cave to live in. So every day on her long journey Nehane stops along to say hi to him and clean his wings.
