White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Stelmarya, like her brother Pantalimon, has a lot in common with her Golden Compass namesake Stelmaria the snow leopard. She is very majestic and proud, and refuses help from others however meager the assistance may be. She is not what you would call a mean personality, but when another dragon annoys her or makes her mad, she becomes as brittle as the cold north wind. Stelmarya has a steely determination that cannot be quenched by anything, and will even fight with older dragons vastly more experienced than herself... and sometimes win.
