Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Elidor the Horse Dragon can often be found cantering through the trees that surround the caves of the Storm Crow Clan and galloping across the plains, leaping into the air to swoop and dive as he hunts his favourite prey, the rabbits that breed so prolifically in the grasslands. He must be careful though, for the rabbits in which he so delights dig their burrows in the meadows where he so loves to run. Each hole is a trap, hidden within the grass, a snare that will break the leg of the Horse Dragon careless enough to step into it's vanishing depth. The other dragons of the clan shake their heads sadly to see him run and swap stories of other dragons who have come to grief in similar circumstances, but when Elidor brings home fresh rabbits from the meadow there are few among them who will refuse a share in the bounty.
