Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Enamouring has a litigator farm, which she and her family have run for three generations. Behind a fence and magical wall is a sort of yard with many frightening animals called litigators. They lie in the swamp and slither on their bellies and always look hungry. When out and about, Enamouring is always seen with one, like a bodyguard. If she has to make decisions, she'll often turn to her companion to review it before moving forward. She is an unassuming and small dragon, but wherever she goes, the litigator is her ever-present accessory. For this reason, most of the other denizens of the town, particularly the humans, are cautious around her and her family's business. If people get too close to the litigators, they could lose their shirts.
