Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sir Gawain, though ironically named, is indeed a chivalrous creature. Brave and steady, he is one of the finer warriors of his clan. Even so, he is not without a sparkling eye and a playful thought and one should never assume that he takes himself too seriously. He spends much of his time in the company of Garath, the dark green dragon, at the main entrance of their clan's caverns.
