Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Halo is an ally of the evil Lizalfos. Though she is bound by an oath of pacifism, she helps him out in other ways—she 'heals' dragons of what drives them to rebel against Lizalfos' conquest, opening them to his slaughter. Due to slight insanity, she believes this does not break her oath—despite the cries of the dying dragons—and so she is not prevented from doing so by the enchantment.

When not on a raid, she tends to any wounds he may get, as despite her efforts some dragons do land attacks. She also collects berries and herbs to make him strong, although some of these have side effects—once she had to flee for a few days because he was lashing out everywhere in a herb-induced fury. Occasionally, they get to the point of even affecting her, however—this gives her insanity a boost, and is likely what caused it in the first place.
