Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Foreclose is a snoopy, curious dragon who loves poking her head into the affairs of others and just observing how things go. If she isn't personally invested in something, her reason for checking up on someone is "just making sure". She won't or can't elaborate about what she's "just making sure" of, only that she's "just making sure", confusing dragons and humans alike. It's true that paying attention to everyone, welcome or not, might make Foreclose a more knowledgeable person, but some dragons find this quite annoying and have the urge to strangle and eat her, if only she weren't so useful as a delivery lady and sitter... and so darned polite. Trying to hurt Foreclose seems like a waste of a good and diligent but nosy worker. Her superiors try to keep her busy with more and more assignments, but she finds ways to finish them more and more efficiently, and she quickly then goes back to snooping around.
