Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Thor Yfelsbane is a fierce fighter who throws all that he has into the protection of his clan. He has a high respect for the more peaceful and studious dragons, and a love of eggs and hatchlings (his own and others'), and views it as his responsibility to guard them so that they may live their lives in peace and freedom. He hates bullies, and will automatically take the side of the innocent and weak against the strong and oppressive. (Which is not to say by any means that he dislikes all that are strong—only those that abuse their power. He works very well with the other fighting dragons in his clan, and regularly trains with them so as to ensure that their respective strengths can balance and enhance each other.)
