Blacktip Dragons are a small, shore-dwelling breed that tend to nest on sheer ocean side cliffs. They live in groups under a dominant female, who prevents her subordinates from breeding. During the mating season, a group of Blacktips can be very noisy and smelly indeed; males produce a distinctive musky odor and loud, low-pitched honking noises in an attempt to woo the alpha female.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon belongs to a breed long believed to be extinct. His breed was known to live long, even by dragon standards, and to change their appearance and personality from time to time, mimicking other breeds. Although he never tells someone his real name, he is now known to the dragons of the clan as "The Cosmic Hobo".

With his second body he developed a certain restlessness and now travels the lands far more willingly and happily than before. His whole manners and demeanour have brightened up, and he enjoys the company of young dragon and hatchlings alike. While most dismiss him as a harmless or obnoxious Blacktip, little could be farther from the truth, because his body hides an exceptional mind. Whenever he meets someone needing help on his travels, he will do his best to give assistance, be it by cheering a sad human up with his honks or by outwitting dangerous predators. He is especially loved by the hatchlings who see him as a sort of favourite silly uncle.
