Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It must be very shy since it keeps hiding from you.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Falci is a sweet dragon who loves to play. While she is not fierce, she loves to pounce on other hatchlings and engage them in mock battles. Unfortunately for Falci, this usually ends with her getting hurt and running back to her parents sobbing about the way the other dragons are bullying her. Because of her behavior, the other hatchlings have started to avoid Falci when she comes near them to play since they don't want to be accused of picking on the helpless little mint.
