White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Alandrah is known as her clan's alpha female, or the clan mother as they like to call her. She is dedicated to her life mate, Aldran, and the two settle any disputes with wisdom and intelligence. Alandrah herself is patient and kind, taking in any dragon that is in need, even when that dragon is going to inevitably betray the clan. This has gotten her small clan into a mess of troubles, most notably with the vine dragon Zeviana. A strange human girl is sometimes seen talking to Alandrah, usually shortly before new eggs in need of rescuing appear. A couple wonder why, but only the elder dragons really know the answer, and they are hardly going to tell the younger, fiery dragons that the original clan mother was a human.
