Swallowtail Dragons are graceful and quick flyers, much like their namesake bird. They are capable of precise aerial acrobatics, and can reach very high altitudes. Because of this, humans observing these dragons are often astonished at how large they are when confronted up close. A Swallowtail’s diet consists of insects and small mammals plentiful in temperate forests. These dragons are also made remarkable by their paper-thin wing membranes, which allow light to pass through, creating an astonishing effect on starry nights.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Plucks Feathers, aka Plucker, is always chasing the chickens around the cave. The other dragons wonder when he will learn that chickens are faster and more agile than him. He is constantly running into walls that the chickens can run underneath, and doesn't seem to get that he is too big. He gets so focused on the chicken, that he ignores his surroundings. He got his head stuck once, in a hole that was too small. The chicken ran out the other side of the wall, and started taunting him. That's when he got mad. He pulled and pulled until his head became unstuck, and whirled around to face the chicken. It stood there, frozen in fear. That's when Plucker grabbed the chicken, and plucked out some tail feathers. A smile of happiness spread across his face, and he let the chicken go. He uses the feathers to make ornaments and gifts for his mate Sleeps on Sheep. Now to wait a few days before chicken chasing again...
