Mistlet Pygmies thrive in humid environments and are most content when frolicking in the rain or fog. The cheerful demeanor they exhibit provides a remarkable contrast to their shadowy appearance, bringing joy in otherwise gloomy environments. Mistlets are an especially beautiful sight in long summer evenings, as their streak of vibrant scales catch the fading sunlight. They spend a great deal of their time foraging for edible roots and insects, and sometimes enjoy treats in the form of small fish or frogs.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

Unlike most Dark Myst Pygmies, Hostilenight isn't very friendly. He has quite a temper and prefers to be alone because other dragons just annoy him. He loves to lurk in the dark and hunt things at night. He is quiet but not shy; he can also become sarcastic if someone begins to annoy him. The only dragons he doesn't find annoying are his mate, Silverglory, and his kin. He met Silverglory when she was caught in a trap. Normally he'd just leave someone there but she seemed so fragile he had to help her somehow. After that the two began to meet up and talk, soon becoming mates. When he became her mate he joined her clan, WaterClan, though he used to be a rogue dragon. So he's a little less grumpy now, but one shouldn't go up and antagonize him or he'll shut them up with his claws.
