Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

ChimeDancer JoyHerald and her sister WindDasher are two of only four snow angel dragons alive with golden-tan coloration, rather than snow-white. Although not related by blood, she and WindDasher are the closest of friends and travel everywhere together, preferring to roam the trackless wilderness of the north for most of the year, far from prying eyes. However, they are well aware of their role as the "Spirits of Christmas," and do small good deeds wherever they can, taking no credit and rarely showing themselves. When winter comes to the land, they joyfully migrate south with the rest of their kindred, spreading cheer and hope and guiding lost travelers to shelter. ChimeDancer is the more playful of the two, and loves to make others laugh. She is fearless and friendly and often lets curiosity get the better of her. She adores hot chocolate, a warm fire, and the smell of pine trees on a cold morning.
