Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows brightly, and seems to prefer warm areas.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Clude was taken from the cave by accident, his breed misidentified in the rush. But for a long time the Clan could not decide whether to keep the egg or not. During a period of inattention, Clude hatched, and suddenly the window of opportunity to give up the dragon was reduced to mere days, and the adorable creature was simply to endearing to abandon and he was frozen. However Clude never desired to be considered one of the hatchlings, preferring instead to hang out on his own in a small nearby cave, and only occasionally visiting his original home.
