Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Potina is a lovely silver dragon. She loves her shiny hide and spends a good deal of time cleaning and primping her scales. She is not the smartest of dragons but she is well liked by her cave mates for her loving and bubbly personality. Potina spends many of her days teaching the maturing female dragons how to primp themselves and prepare to attract life mates. Passing on her knowledge of beauty is a great joy for her. Her other great joy is her life mate Ya Muqtadir. He is a winter dragon and she finds him to be irresistibly attractive. She will stare at his vibrant blue hide and bulging muscles for hours while she listens to him talk. The only downside to their relationship is that her life mate has another life mate other than her. She hates having to share him, but will do so if it means that she can continue to have him in her life. To her it is a worth while compromise.
