White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sarden is one family member in a long line of proud White healers, and he certainly knows it.  As he was very well cared for by his Guardian mother and his White father, Sarden has gained a great sense of independence.  He wants to leave his home and see the world someday, even though it would mean great danger and the possibility of never seeing his family again.  For now he is content to remain alone and gaze at the stars at night, leaving the cares of the sanctuary behind him if only in the mental sense.
