Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Immortal Star was called so by her mother. This young dragon will not age any longer, because her parents cast a spell on her to prevent her from aging further. As a little hatchling, Star suffered from a terrible disease that not even her white mother was able to heal, but which was bearable for the young dragon as long as she would not age anymore. After having asked many other white dragons for help without success, the spell was cast and Star will now stay young forever.

Star is a thoughtful young dragon whose true age is mirrored in her bottomless blue eyes. When she speaks, she speaks with a wisdom that proofs she is much older than she looks. Together with her mentor, the white dragon Sharass, she aids her clan as a healer.
