Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Imperial Jade is a very shy dragon.  She is a member of the Black Draco clan.  She and her older brother, Ruler of the Black Sky, are the children of Jade Envy, the head of their cave.  She is shy about admitting that she is practically royalty.  Though her brother is outgoing and protective of her, and encourages her to be the same, she prefers to keep to herself.  She enjoys helping others, and has decided to take up a job as a medical dragon.  The others welcome her, and she appreciates their kindness.  She is good with herbs, and never neglects anyone in need.  Shy and helpful, Imperial Jade is a great dragon to have around.
