Blusang Lindwyrms are quite different from most dragons in that they lack hind legs. In this regard, they resemble snakes, and this is evident in their movement; these lindwyrms slither along the ground, using their forelegs to lift them over rougher terrain. Blusangs are a coastal breed, preferring to live along rocky beaches and in seaside caves rather than sandy locations. They are omnivores who graze on seaweed from time to time, although their primary form of sustenance is fish.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A large and handsome dragon, Doxey rules over a wide stretch of the Western shores. Although he often rests high up on sun-baked rocks far out to sea, he is most often seen in flight over many great river estuaries and coastal salt marshes, earning him the title 'Lord of the Marshes' with local dragons. Despite being known by nearly all of the dragons that make their homes on the coast, Doxey is quite secretive by nature and he chooses not to converse much with others, unless they are of his own kind. Unfortunately, blusangs are a dying breed in the Coorinna Territory—many speculate that Doxey may be one of the last.
