Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This baby dragon, frozen by a spell and made to be forever young, longs to prove himself grown up. He will never mature, and hates all humans for it. He seeks his revenge on them by hiding, perfectly camouflaged, in brush, and using his vines to trip people so that he can gain the advantage and attack them. He is dangerous, and hides most of the time, unseen by most humans except for those with the keenest eyes who know what to look for. But it's the enemy that is unseen that is most deadly, and many have fallen into his trap, yet he still seeks revenge on humans. His hatred will never be totally satisfied.
