Deep Sea Dragons, as their name suggests, spend most of their time in the darkest depths of the sea. They have a bioluminescent dorsal spine that serves to attract prey and communicate with their own kind. As with many deep sea animals, they generally eat whatever they can manage to bait. They rarely leave the ocean floor, surfacing only during breeding season. When they do choose to travel to the shallower depths, they avoid bright lights and will only come up far away from shore.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Si'Drakue lives in an area of the sea known as the Jagged Abyss due to the large pillars of rock that erupt from the earth like jagged teeth. When humans would happen upon Si'Drakue's head rising out of the water for air, a strange sight to suddenly see in the middle of the ocean, they would immediately attack out of fear or flea for their lives. However poor Si'Drakue, whose curiosity is unparalleled, only ever wishes to inspect new aspects of his surroundings, so very little interesting situations happen.

Si'Drakue is hardly aggressive and would never attempt to harm another dragon or human, only acting savage when on the hunt. He values the good company of others which at the bottom of the sea, in the middle of the ocean, is quite rare. The only sensible company he always has around is that of his mate Oceania and Traveler, a marooned dragon, whom he saved some time ago.
