Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blackmare is the leader and magician of the clan. He is serious, annoying, and intelligence. He is able to use black magic as his primary combat skill without being exhaust. His black magic had been locked (restrict it from being master) by mountainy before he can master it because mountainy afraid Blackmare's black magic become too powerful for him to handle. Blackmare usually stares into the cave without reason for few hours then goes to hunting. His favorite foods are sheep and like to steal them from nearby human farm. During his free time he often roars to annoy nearby human or just disturb them. He uses half of his time to practice black magic and fly around the cave. He knows an unique spell call "Block of Darkness" which is capable of blocking small amount of area, he usually uses this spells to block the cave entrance to prevent any egg predator or attacker from coming into the cave, but it is too weak to handle any large predator.
