Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ignavus Draco means "Lazy Dragon" in Latin, and this guy lives up to his name very well. Draco would prefer to bask in the sun and socialize rather then hunt for his own food or carry his own weight in the clan. He often finds ways to shirk his duties and flies off to his favorite cliff to sleep. His laziness in fact, even drove away his mate.

Socius once tried to frighten him out of being lazy, via threats of burning him alive, but received a slap on the nose with Draco's tail as he screeched and wheeled away. Atrum'cruor even threatened to banish him. But Draco always vanished when confronted, only to return a few weeks later.

The new leader of the clan however, has had his eye on little Draco. And for better or for worse, Aztios plans to break the Striped dragon of his lackadaisical habits.
