Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shansee is a member of the Black Draco Clan.  She is a counselor and a mediator.  She stops fights between dragons.  Fighters couldn't stay mad at each other if they wanted to when she is there.  She loves her job.  Her job is her passion, unlike many other dragons.  She really has a talent for counseling and mediating.  She has counseled many troubled dragons.  Most Dragons wouldn't like having everyone else's troubles dumped on them, but Shansee actually enjoys it.  She says she loves to see the looks of happiness on the faces whomeever's troubles she has solved. Once, two dragons came to her, and they were literally threatening to tear each others throats out, and over who had the best corner in the den at that!  But after a visit with Shansee, they were best of friends!
