Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

After the Famine of Blood, the Blood War began, and the five great vampire clans have been at war ever since. Vulkan, leader of the Bloodbound, is a very unique vampire, and when he bites, he only drinks enough of the blood to sustain himself, collecting the rest in small bottles he finds in human villages. What he does with these vials of blood, however, is horrendous. He brings the vials to a Mage dragon by the name of Basilisk. Basilisk enhances the abilities of the blood so that when Vulkan drinks it, he changes. Vulkan is very large, almost twice the size of the other clan leaders, and has great muscle strength. His wings have grown to a grand size, but most people agree that they are out of proportion with the rest of his body. With every vial he consumes, he becomes even more bloodthirsty, and his mental condition deteriorates to the point of madness.
