Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A long time ago, there was a merchant. He was notorious for smuggling dragon's eggs across kingdom borders, but nobody could catch him. One of these eggs hatched during a ride in the back of the merchant's wagon on the way to a small town called Grothi'il. Through the gates to Grothi'il, a gargoyle sitting on one of the pillars saw the egg. He had been hunting for an apprentice for some time now so he turned into a shadow and snatched the egg. Max was taught the art of speed and cunning and earned his place among the protectors of his pack. He is rarely seen during the day and keeps the cave safe from intruders at night.
