Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Glassiad has the power to change the weather. He uses this power to help out Zieno's clan. He can make it sunny, rainy, cloudy, etc. He lives on top of the main cave in a crevice, he uses that area to change the weather also. He is also the only one that notices that Zierona slacks off a lot on her job. He is very special to the clan because of his powers. He was abandoned when he was still a egg and Zieno found him under some snow. Like most dragons in the clan he will protect the cave with his life. He is very full of cheerfulness and like to tell jokes but when its time for being serious he will act intelligently.
