Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Like her mate Walther, Neidhard prefers to write her lyrics in Old High Draconic. But unlike him, she manages to convey the content of her stories quite well despite the language barrier. Anyone who has ever seen or heard Neidhard perform will be ready to explain that her tone, intonation, and facial expressions can easily tell the story as well as the words would. And that obviously Old High Draconic isn't as high-brow as the studious elders who still speak it today would like people to believe.
