Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Scar Vermilion, or Scar for short, is a young Red Striped dragon. He spends a lot of time alone, usually scribbling down lists of mysterious names, such as "the man at the tower", "the observer", "the ark", "the tall man", and most often "the Rake", which he says attacked Corvy many years ago. Of course, many dragons think he's as insane as the Black dragons, but Sapphiro and Izar are sure that he's trying to tell them something. He almost never sleeps, and is almost always found right outside the cave's entrance at midnight, staring into the thick forest across from the cave. Izar has asked him what he's doing several times, and he always replies, "saving you all." So far, no one else has seen what he stares at at night in the forest, but Sapphiro and Izar are sure that it's something, and it can't be good.
