It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Chicchai Baioretto. Her name is supposed to mean little violet. She is the daintiest little purple in the cave. She seems so frail that she might blow away in a strong wind. The other dragons think it's because she never seems to eat except in mating season. She's not as frail as she looks though, she once pulled Amai Wataame out of a mud hole that Amai was stuck in. Don't remind Amai about it though, Amai is still sore about it because Chicchai did it by grabbing a hold of Amais tail an pulling on it by clamping her teeth and fore claws onto it, bracing with her back legs and pulling with all her might.It's probably because of that that there is a strong rivalry between Amai and Chicchai, and that Amai hates Chicchai. Chicchai scarred Amai's tail but lost a tooth saving her. Now they both hate each other. Amai hates Chicchai because of the small scarred area on her tail, and Chichai hates Amai because saving Amai from her own carelessness cost her a tooth.
