Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Maorgan's pale white scales and red eyes caused her to stand out among the dragons she was around at birth, so she migrated across the pinks and dark purples of the sunset sky when she matured and grew her wings, to a place teeming with Albino-type dragons. Maorgan likes to feel that she is accepted as normal, and would choose to blend into the background rather than stand out. Maorgan is a strange dragon, in the fact that she shows an interest in contacting humans, although she never can bring herself to fully trust them. Last seen snuffling around and living in the ruins of an old brick library near an abandoned village now taken by dragons and choked with weeds and the scent of emptiness and death.
