Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A large plant is all that exists in a large clearing outside the cave's entrance. The other dragons tend to avoid this clearing, especially the smaller ones, as though there is something wrong with it. And indeed there is, for long enough observation reveals that this plant is no plant at all, but a trap. A small wandering animal strays too close, and a bud—at least, it looked like a bud—opens a gaping maw with rows of sharp needle-like teeth, and snatches up the victim in the blink of an eye. It's over quickly, with no time to suffer. Efficient, swift. The ground stirs, and a green scaled head with luminous yellow eyes rises from the soft earth. Craning his neck around, the dragon opens wide a blood-red mouth and delicately takes the prey from the appendage that has captured it, the vines writhing and flailing in restless pleasure. The prey is devoured swiftly, and the dragon lowers his head back to the earth, burying himself back up with skillfully wielded leaves and branches.
