Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Placido is a great fan of dramatic roles and high brow music. He himself is neither a composer nor a songwriter but the Moonsilver Artists' Association nevertheless invited him to join since his variety in performance and the way he uses his voice are both an art all in themselves. Next to his mate, Callas, Placido almost seems boring in real life, but once he's on the stage he shines as brightly as she does.
