Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It occasionally shoots small puffs of smoke from its nose, like it’s trying to breathe fire.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Seeker-After-Truth is usually known as Seeker. He is exceedingly annoyed by this name as he believes it to be idiotic. Many of the others in his clan think that this is a bit rude, as being named is hardly a right. But Seeker suits his name; he firmly believes that the truth must be known. And in his opinion one, being named IS a basic right for sentient beings, and two, Seeker-After-Truth is a stupid name.

Seeker is a highly intelligent youngster, and is often consulted when technical issues such as water supply for the cave or the best site for incubating eggs arise. He is generally well liked, if a bit odd.
