Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Xenon Stripes is a very lazy Harvest Dragon. He is the second resident of all to be born, and is often very untrustworthy and irresponsible. This is due to his laziness. Xenon also is close friends with Neon Tails, Krypton Hooves, and was a role model to Helium Thread. Neon Tails is a very good friend to him; Neon usually puts Xenon to sleep in Xenon's request. Also, he has very dull battle strategy, and he often doesn't practice. Xenon also sits aside in most emergencies and often ignores others. He spends most time sleeping and not fulfilling his duties as the clan's hatchling teacher. He does the job, but rather badly. The 2nd Generation has learned most from him and the leader of Generation 2 often shuns him for the his supposed idiocy. Xenon doesn't care about the Gen 2 Leader, Winged Miracle.
