Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Grumpy and anti-social, Zone is very emotionally insecure. He is often seen sobbing in a city and is hardly seen smiling or having fun, this is because he is sad that he never will be able to soar the skies with his species because he fears they will call him a runt and leave him. The only person who has ever given him notice or kind words is his human master who cares for him as well as all the other dragons she takes care of. He has learnt to socialise more but most dragons still keep their distance from the troubled youngster.
