Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

FlickerWing is called Flicker. She is easily distracted, but still a member of the shadowy Chosen Eight. Flicker's power is speed, and teleportation. It is rumored she can be in one place one second, then around the Earth in the other. However, Flicker is actually quite friendly, but overshadowed and dominated by the Leaders of the Chosen Eight, Dream's Cloud and Dark's Menace.
