Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ennaeshia is one of the kindest dragons in her area. She always is generous and friendly to any visitors, offering all the guidance she can if asked, and even taking time to play games with the young of any species whose children wander by. She never steals from others and she will protect those in danger.

However, those who know her well realize that her kindness is a severely entrenched fear. When she was a hatchling, she was rather mischievous, picking on others whenever she felt like it. One night when she was outside in the rain playing, happening upon a small group of adolescent dragons mock-battling in the air. While she watched, a bolt of lightning struck one of the dragons, killing it. In terror, she fled back into the cave. As a last resort, her parents eventually convinced her out by telling Ennaeshia that elders in the clouds used lightning to strike down bad dragons. Accepting this as fact, she began to drastically change her ways to avoid the fate of that one dragon.
