Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ayarnine is the current leader of the cave. He is the Dragon who gets the final say in all matters and is treated with high respect by the rest. He mostly appoints positions and ranks to the rest of the dragons of the cave, but he also serves as the judge when needed. Unlike past leaders he has not let power go to his head, for he respects others just as they respect him. Which is why his rule has been long and prosperious. He is not quite considered an elder yet, but in the next fifty to seventy-five years he may have to pick an apprentice to eventually fill his place.
