Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

On a really hot summer day, this egg was sent as a gift from a friendly creative keeper. The dragons named the young hatchling Sir Alt Dark'athem and welcomed the beautiful black dragon with a sensational party. The cute hatched dragon enjoys telling wonderful or creepy stories and funny jokes. He is a little snoopy and a daredevil. So after the party he prowled all over the whole place. The moon was full, seemed a kind of red and lit his way. Near the cave he found a hidden place to a deeper old cave. He had to roll some stones away and crashed a mysterious signed wall to get down the underground. There he found nothing else but some exceedingly old bones and a strange book. The next day he got very ill and the white dragons came to cure him. They diagnosed a respiratory tract virus infection and decided to freeze him.
