Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is rather pale in color and likes to sleep while balancing on one leg.

And look! It has grown wings and a large head crest! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Years ago, during the great dragon war, the young were protected by a powerful black hatchling. Fluffy grew up following the great leader's footsteps. When Fluffy finally understood what it takes to be a leader, disaster struck. The pack stumbled into a battle ground and were caught in the fray. Fluffy was able to lead most of the hatchlings out of harm's way. However, the leader was mortally injured. With his dying breath, he told Fluffy to take charge, that he believed in him.

Fluffy has come a long way since then. After the war, he stumbled upon a cave led by Messender of Thoth. There, he made a home for his pack, and provides guidance for newborn hatchlings. However, Fluffy often questions himself what would have happened if they didn't find the cave.
