Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

On the 25th of December 2011 there was no snow around the cave, but it was very cloudy. GiratinaOF was doing a winter excursion to the nearby mountains with snow on them when he suddenly spotted two snowbound eggs near some big boulders. After picking them up he brought them back to the cave. As they grew up he named one of them "Winter-Magi".

This dragon is among the best fliers in his cave, mainly because of his large wings, giving him great agility and climbing capabilities. He loves to soar above the jungle with some Canopy Dragons, so he can usually be found spending his time with them. Happy, cute, elegant and motivated are good words to describe this Winter Magi Dragon, which is always in motion. One of his biggest dreams is to teach the hatchlings how to fly, but it has partially come true as he's just become a co-teacher.
