Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

A battle is raging at dawn on a cliff that if you fall off of, it's certain death. A large dragon darts in and out of the enemy lines, shielding his family by blinding the enemy. This male is Sirodar, lead male of the cave. He is an expert when it comes to war and both is a shield and weapon when helping his family stay alive. He darts in front of the enemies, holding up his wings to blind them with the golden color he turns when the sunlight hits him. He is loyal and is like the father of the cave. No one wants Sirodar as their enemy.
